An alert is a bit like a monitored alarm for a specific property’s Certificate of Title. When certain events are recorded on a Certificate of Title, an alert will be instantly triggered and sent to you via email or SMS.
You can set up alerts on any property by using the ‘Order Products’ button.
Two types of alerts are available, each being triggered by a different set of events.
Simply select the alert, select the property and add to cart. This can also be done in bulk if you have selected multiple properties.
You can then choose the email address to which the alert will be sent, and if you want, a mobile number to receive SMS alerts as well.
Note the ‘Auto renew alert subscriptions’ check box. An alert is active for 12 months, it will only auto renew for another 12 months if you check this box.
Your usual SAILIS account will be charged the per property fee which gives you each alert for 12 months.
When an alert occurs, the email (and SMS) you receive will contain the following information:
• Title Reference
• Property Address
• Activity Type
• Activity Data and Time
• Customer Reference (if applicable)
